Not to advertise but I've forgotten how beautiful my country, the Philippines is. I have not been there for a long time and so I can't remember how serene some of the islands are. My husband is on vacation there and had the opportunity to go to some of the world famous resorts. Now I know why people from other countries are flocking there not only for vacation but to invest as well. Well, next year my plan is to take a trip there with my children after graduation. Can't wait.

I am set for Holloween. The kids are excited since we are spending the holloween weekend with their cousins. It's too bad that it fell on a Sunday which means they can't really stay out late since they have school the following day. Even my bullies have their costumes ready for Trick or Treating. I thought I'd share some cute pictures of my dogs. They tried their costumes on today for us.

Being an online student

To be honest, I really like the flexibility and the anonymity of being an online student. It takes the fear out of making a mistake as far as class participation since no one will see you in case you give out a wrong aswer to a question. During the days I was in school, which is so many years ago, I remember always hesitating even if I was a hundred percent sure of the answer. I guess being young and shy was a huge part of the problem. But online school is in a way the answer to those who are having a problem like I had in a traditional school. The flexibility is the selling point for me. With work and family, I would not be able to accomplish my goals if online schools don't exist. Thank goodness....three more terms I am done!

Blog-o-sphere

I am still quite uncertain about blogging. I am a very private person and blogging is something that I never imagined I would be a part of if it was not a requirement for my class. It is very odd and sometimes hard for me to write about what is going on in my life, around me, or just plainly writing down my thoughts for other people to read. But who knows...it might be helpful especially at times when you are looking for someone to talk to and there is no one around.

Tough weeks ahead

Well...my lucky husband is off to his 5 week vacation in the Philippines! I will be the man of the house while his gone. I'm sure I can manage. I've done it before when he left for 3 months for a work assignment in Amsterdam. It's a rough start though since my youngest son got in trouble in school so the week is not starting out so well. Not to mention our month end closing was cut short 1 day by our corporate office. I had to come to work Sunday to get a head start. It didn't seem like I even made a dent on the loads of work that I have to do. Luckily, I finished payroll so at least that's out of the way. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
